The Kindness Community Vegan Cookbook

Edgars Mission is a farm sanctuary located in Lancefield Victoria that houses a diverse range of animals. That is the boring description, what they really are is one of the kindest and happiest places you will ever visit. Run by Pam Ahern and her incredible team, the sanctuary has unique names for every single animal, conducts regular tours, and does incredible community outreach. Founded by Pam & her pet pig Edgar in 2003, it is a much-loved organisation by the whole vegan community.

Cooking with Kindness

Three years ago they even launched a hugely successful book, Cooking With Kindness which had a whole ton of amazing vegan recipes! Now they have decided to write another, this time with the help of the vegan-cooking community, ie you!

The Kindness Community Vegan Cookbook! It will be jam-packed with taste-tempting, mouth-watering, inexpensive, easy to create and show-offy vegan recipes that are just waiting to lure one and all into the deliciousness of plant-based eating – all the while making the world a kinder place one scrumptious bite at a time.

Here’s what Edgars Mission said

We’d love for you to be a part of this by submitting a recipe or two.  It could be a recipe for your favourite breakfast, your best family meal on a budget, or your most impressive celebratory dish. We want to create a really useful and much turned to resource for all vegans. We want those looking to embark on a kinder way of living.

To get involved, please register your interest by emailing them here by 5pm this Monday 27 April and they’ll send you the recipe template to get you going. They’ll then need your epic recipe submissions by 4 May.

Give Away

And in the spirit of community, kindness, and generosity, they want to help you to help someone else. The first 50 people who submit a recipe will be able to nominate someone to win the books. We’ll send them a copy of the book you select, as a surprise, from you.

      Hi Dee Dee,
They are being chosen by Edgars Mission not us, so you will need to chat with them.

Good luck with your recipe 🙂
