KFC Vegan Chicken is now in Australia
Yes, that’s correct, KFC has officially launched a plant based (somewhat vegan*) offering down under. But before you rush off to your local KFC you should know that it is only being rolled out initially across a handful of NSW Surf Coast locations.
The locations that have been lucky enough to be in the testing pool are the following:
Albion Park, Batemans Bay, Bega, Bomaderry, Dapto, Fairy Meadow, Mittagong, Nowra, Shellharbour, Ulladulla, Unanderra, Warrawong, and Wollongong.
The roll out and offering comes after PETA delivered a petition with 10,000 signatures to KFC, demanding that it add a vegan option to their menus!
So with that, all said, what is the product like?
Take a look at just a few of the initial responses to the product so far!

Final Thoughts
Whilst this rollout is only taking place in selected NSW locations, we are hopeful that it will be something they roll out nationwide in the near future. If you have had a chance to try the product be sure to let us know in the comments below what you thought of it!
