Made With Plants debuts vegan steak in Woolworths nationwide

In 2023 so many new and amazing plant based / vegan options have been hitting the supermarket shelves that we have almost become spoilt for choice here in Australia.

Now we have just learned that our friends at Made With Plants have released a vegan steak that will be available nationwide! Now how good is that?!

Made With Plants Steak is made from seitan, a low-fat source of plant-based protein. In fact, the company’s research and development process is inspired by centuries-old Asian culinary traditions. To produce seitan, the team from Made With Plants use a specialised flour, add water, and create a dough that can be seasoned and cooked much like traditional meat. The result is a realistic sirloin style steak that even the most devoted meat-eater can sink their teeth into.

The product will be stocked at Woolworths Supermarkets around the country.
