Event Program Manager for Vegan NSW, Jones (they/them) said:
“Sydney Vegan Market is an inclusive space where creators of vegan food, products and services can connect to like-minded consumers, where the vegan community can find quality, ethically made vegan products and where those who are interested in veganism can see just how easy it can be.
“For almost 5 years, Sydney Vegan Market has been the monthly meeting place for vegans and the vegan friendly, and each month we welcome thousands of people from all corners of the state; from the far reaches of Newcastle, Wollongong, and the Blue Mountains. Many have said the market is their happy and safe place.”
“With a vast range of products, Sydney Vegan Market explores the incredible diversity of the makers within the local vegan community, and is the perfect event for everyone to see that a vegan lifestyle is delicious, accessible and affordable.”
The layout of the market creates a big vegan block party along Olympic Boulevard! With lots of green space to eat and relax, and as well as bringing your mates, your dog and a picnic rug, the market also encourages BYO cups, cutlery and containers. Almost 100% of the food and drink packaging and utensils can be composted in the green bins available.
Vegan NSW relies on volunteers for almost everything we do, whether it’s running our amazing events, advocating for animals, or supporting people to live their best vegan life. At each event we offer over 50 opportunities for volunteering from event operations, stall management, social media and marketing, research, admin and more. If you’re keen to help register at Better Impact to be part of the fun and meet like-minded people.
