One of the hardest hurdle a vegetarian or the “vegan-curious” is often faced with is, what about cheese? If you are already a vegan you know the common question (aside from where do you get your protein from) is how do you live without cheese”?

So if you are looking at going vegan but afraid you won’t be able to eat cheese anymore you don’t have to despair because there are now a whole host of amazing alternatives. You can get many alternatives to the cheeses you are used to such as cheese blocks, sliced cheese, cheese spreads and parmesan cheese in a variety of brands.

Personally, we have found different tastes over the brands so be sure to try a few and see which ones you like the best! Some are “coco-nutty”, some are a bit bland (tasteless) and some cheeses we try Iwewant to immediately send to friends so they can try them! (So the variety is now huge).
We suggest you just keep trying until you find the one that suits you.

NOTE: This is probably our all-time favourite. The cheese wheels are so delicious. Great for entertaining or bringing to a friends house. There’s no way they will be able to taste the difference to their regular dairy cheese. The butter is also great.

We understand there are also a whole host of local independent brands too, but we wanted to focus on mass availability for this feature.
