Veganuary Chart to keep you on track in 2024!

Veganuary Chart to keep you on track in 2024!

With January (or as we refer to it as) Veganuary well and truly in the rear vision mirror, we thought it was time to look at how you can continue your journey throughout the year!

What is Veganuary?

Veganuary has inspired and supported millions of people all over the world to try vegan since 2014 – with participants from almost every country in the world. They have worked with businesses to drive up vegan options in shops and restaurants, and have made veganism more visible and accessible through their work with national and international media.

Veganuary’s Vision

The vision is simple; we want a vegan world. A world without animal farms and slaughterhouses. A world where food production does not decimate forests, pollute rivers and oceans, exacerbate climate change, and drive wild animal populations to extinction.

Vegan throughout the year

This year in follow up to the recent January campaign, they have put together a plan for us all!  As both Veganuary and our team like to say, the healthiest vegan diet is one that is well-planned to cover all your nutritional needs, making sure you eat lots of fruit, veg and other wholefoods. It’s best to limit foods that are high in salt, sugar and fat too.

Veganuary urges anyone adopting a vegan diet long-term to regularly take the following supplements:

  • Vitamin B12
  • Vitamin D (not essential in summer if you spend time outdoors in sunlight)
  • Iodine
  • Omega 3

So Yes, you can find these nutrients in plant-based foods if you’re very organised and consistent. For most people, taking supplements is just more practical.
