5 Vegan Soaps Brands to support today

With the current COVID-19 outbreak in our midst, people have never been more fearful of germs and have never been more focused on sanitization. For this reason, we thought we would take a look at a few of the vegan soaps on the market, specifically Australian or Australian made varieties.

When going vegan you will find that animal products tend to sneak into so many of our everyday products and soaps are no exception. Here are some Aussie vegan soaps that are 100% cruelty-free for your next wash!

If you know a brand we missed, leave us a message in the comments and we can add them in for next time!

Thank You Group

A huge Australian success story, the Thank You Group are a socially conscious enterprise allowing you to put your dollar towards your values. The company literally allows you to track your impact through their code and see where the profit from your product is being used in the third world. We love this brand and love how many amazing vegan-friendly products they have in their range too!

Green Kind

From the creators of vegan online store Flora & Fauna comes vegan brand Green Kind. The brand is the brainchild of Julie Mathers & Tom Abraham who are both focused on creating ethical products that are free of nasties and obviously are 100% vegan.

At the current point 80% of their product range is vegan, so be sure to check the labeling on any products that you purchase from them. Lush avoid all animal testing, are handmade and purchase their ingredients ethically,

De Chalain Soap Bars

De Chalain is an organic, vegan, handmade and palm oil free business. Their bars are all hand made in Melbourne and the ingredients are sustainably sourced so that you can be sure that no animals (or humans) have been harmed while you are enjoying your soap!

Eco Store

Known for their ‘no nasty chemicals’ ethos, Eco Store has a range of vegan soaps that are nice on the skin and easy on the wallet too. Made locally (sort of, New Zealand) they also don’t test on animals in any of their products.

Their coconut soap is plant-based and suitable for vegans!

So there you have it, folks, five vegan soap ideas to add to your next grocery haul. We would also love to hear from anyone who has a brand they think should be added to the list.

Stay safe and remember…wash your damn hands!
