Beetroot Hummus recipe

This is one of my favourite dips!  It’s full of flavour and makes for a delicious snack paired with some crunchy veggie sticks!

Beetroot Hummus Recipe

  • 1 beetroot
  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 cup hulled tahini
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 pinch salt


  1. Chop the beetroot into small chunks and add to a food processor with the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Blitz until creamy but a little bit chunky. I like to add some of the reserved water from the chickpeas to thin it down until it reaches a nice consistency.
  3. Top with some extra virgin olive oil and desired toppings before serving.
  4. Enjoy!
