Well, we can’t say we disagree with this statement. This recipe is the ultimate naughty breakfast for those who want to start their day with something sweet and something chocolate 🙂

Chocolate Pancakes

  • Servings: 2 servings

Chocolate pancakes with coconut yoghurt

Ingredients

  • 3/4cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp cacao powder
  • 1 cup of plant milk
  • 2 Tbsp of coconut oil

Optional: chocolate chips or cut up dark chocolate, banana, melted dark chocolate and coconut yoghurt

Directions

  1. In a large bowl mix the dry ingredients together
  2. Add the plant milk and the melted coconut oil
  3. Mix in the cut-up chocolate
  4. Heat a large pan (medium to high heat) and grease it with some coconut oil
  5. Scoop 1-2 Tbsp from the pancake batter and cook it until the edge of the pancake turns golden-brown and then flip it
  6. Add some coconut yoghurt, melted chocolate and banana on top
