Madame K’s Melbourne Review 2022.
We were recently invited to dine in at Madame K’s an all-vegan eatery which is a wonderful casual eatery with locations in Fitzroy, Williamstown and the CBD in Melbourne.
Fitzroy, Melbourne
We chose to visit the Fitzroy eatery which was a nice casual dining experience with exceptionally delicious vegan mock meats and Asian dishes. The location is close to Rose St Fitzroy and for those who know the area, you will be aware that it is an absolute vegan hotspot with plenty of options to choose from in the street and surrounding areas.
The place had a relaxed and comfortable feel and the staff were friendly and warm. Fridges were stocked with Vegan-Friendly wine and beer which is always a plus!
They were also very accomodating to those who do not eat onion or garlic with ‘NOG’ on most of the menu’s items.
Entree
We started with the ‘chicken’ satay & ‘lamb’ sliders which were both really nice. Both really well-presented and super tasty. The texture of the chicken satay was spot on and it felt like eating real chicken (whether that’s a good or bad thing for some people). The sizes were generous and filling.

Mains
We then ordered three mains to share between the two of us. We ordered the Gado Gado salad, a bbq duck dish & a lamb dish, all of which were delicious. The serving sizes meant this was a perfect amount to share between two people (and still leave a little room for a vegan dessert of course).

Dessert
For dessert, we opted for the Banana Roti, which consisted of fried banana topped with agave, almond, and soy vanilla ice-cream! What can we say about this one, it was absolutely delicious!

Final Thoughts
If you are looking for somewhere to dine that is 100% vegan and has an amazing selection of mock meats at an affordable price then Madame K’s is your place. A great place to enjoy a meal in the heart of Fitzroy, the vegan epicenter of Melbourne.
