No Meat May is underway!
No Meat May is a 31-day challenge to give meat the chop for the month of May.
The initiative was launched by a couple of Australians in 2013 who dared themselves and their best mates to give up meat for 31 days. And it stuck!
It has since grown exponentially as families, businesses, and friends have embarked on this journey together each May. Last year over 48,000 people signed up – and this May is set to be their biggest yet. Are you in?
How does it work?
For 31 days, the team at No Meat May will send you all the recipes, tips, and inspiration you need to keep filling your plates with scrumptious veg food. Perhaps even more inspiring is the lovely, welcoming community they’ve amassed on Facebook, who will be there with support and kindness (and food photos!) every step of the way.Â

It is FREE to participate in No Meat May. You can sign up as an individual, or as a team/ workplace!
Rules?
No Meat May encourage people to give up meat or animal products for the month of May, and raise funds to support more people to shift to plant-rich diets. You make your pledge and we back you 100%!
What will the impact of participating be?
Shifting to more plant-rich diets reduces both:
– The number of land animals bred and killed in factory farms, and
– The number of sea animals farmed or caught from our oceans.
This has a positive impact in 4 BIG areas.
- Improving personal & public health outcomes
- Reducing the extent of many environmental crises
- Improving future food and water security, and
- Helping to put an end to the immense cruelty and violence of Factory Farming.
