Shannon Martinez is bringing vegan cheese to Maker & Monger this weekend
Shannon Martinez is bringing vegan cheese to Maker & Monger (Melbourne) this weekend.
Shannon Martinez, the renowned vegan chef behind vegan institutions
Smith & Daughters, Smith & Deli & Lona Misa is partnering with Maker & Monger, the Prahran cheese aficionado for one weekend only!
The collaboration is thanks to the Friends of Fromage series, which will see Shannon create a vegan cheese option for the typically non-vegan establishment (how good!)
That means if you are in Melbourne and want to experience arguably the best vegan cheese on the market, you may just be in luck!
Having a high-quality vegan option at a reputable cheese shop like Maker & Monger is incredibly exciting.
It reflects the growing demand for plant-based alternatives and shows that vegan products can stand alongside traditional offerings in terms of taste and texture.
Shannon’s incredible culinary reputation and her commitment to creating delicious, innovative vegan dishes mean her cheese is likely to be an absolute winner, not only for vegans but for curious food lovers too!
What’s on the menu for the vegans?
This collaboration brings Shannon’s signature vegan flair to Maker and Monger’s Friends of Fromage series; breaking all the rules to deliver ‘The Shannon’: her plant-based take on a hot queso cob loaf.
Served with blue corn chips, 50 of these big bowls of melty vegan cheese dip will be available to devour on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend for $22 a pop, at Maker and Monger’s Prahran Market home.
