Sydney Christmas Vegan Market is all set to go this weekend

Sydney Vegan Market’s Christmas market has your last-minute gifts sorted with 100 stalls! This Sunday at Sydney Olympic Park!

The last Sydney Vegan Market of the year is set to return to Sydney Olympic Park on Sunday December 18, and it’s all about Christmas! You will see a huge array of stalls selling Summer fresh dishes and delights including fan-favourites Southern Soul, Fresh + Frosted, Oh My Days and Tall Grass Cane Juice, as well as some new faces including Payapa Filipino Street Food, Feel Good Bananas, Vegan Chocolate Co and Dhal by Devina.

There will be so many options for you to grab those last minute pressies too! From fashion to skincare, homewares and flowers, SVM’s Christmas market has you covered. Catch the free yoga classes at 9am and 11am, then settle in for the day to listen to live vegan artists at the 100% solar powered main stage, or bring the kids to the SVM Kids Art Space for face painting and making potato print wrapping paper.

Oh and most importantly, bring your dog! Organised by Vegan NSW, a community charity organisation with a vision to inspire, support and grow the vegan movement, with major sponsor Vegan Australia, a national vegan advocacy charity campaigning for the end of the production and consumption of animal products.

Event Program Manager for Vegan NSW, Jones (they/them) said:

“We are so excited to celebrate Christmas and the end of 2022 with a massive Sydney Vegan Market! With over 100 stalls, it is the perfect place to get those last minute Christmas gifts, or start your gift shopping, cruelty free style!”

“With so many stalls featuring food from around the globe, and beautiful products made by hand, we are so ready to put on a Christmas market like no other.” “For 5 years now, Sydney Vegan Market has been the monthly meeting place for vegans and the vegan friendly, and each month we welcome thousands of people from all corners of the state; from the far reaches of Newcastle, Wollongong, and the Blue Mountains. Many have said the market is their happy and safe place.”

The layout of the market creates a big vegan block party along Olympic Boulevard! With lots of green space to eat and relax, and as well as bringing your mates, your dog and a picnic rug, the market also encourages BYO cups, cutlery and containers.

Almost 100% of the food and drink packaging and utensils can be composted in the green bins available. Vegan NSW relies on volunteers for almost everything they do, whether it’s running our amazing events, advocating for animals, or supporting people to live their best vegan life.

At each event they offer over 50 opportunities for volunteering from event operations, stall management, social media and marketing, research, admin and more.

If you’re keen to help register at Better Impact to be part of the fun and meet like-minded people. The best place to stay up to date with the Sydney Vegan Market is to click ‘attending’ on their Facebook event, follow them on Instagram, or sign up for their newsletter.
