Event Program Manager for Vegan NSW, Jones (they/them) said:

“As a Queer non binary vegan, I am absolutely thrilled that Sydney Vegan Market is part of Sydney WorldPride, an incredible global festival that celebrates the diversity

and uniqueness of the LGBTIQ+ communities around the world. Bringing together my two wonderful communities like this feels like a dream come true!

With a deep commitment to safety, we have worked hard to ensure that SVM is inclusive and fun for everyone, and I am excited to be showcasing the vast array of vegan food and products, and platforming amazing LGBTIQ+ vegan artists!”

The layout of the market lends itself to lots of shade with plenty of space to relax, and as well as bringing your mates, your dog and a picnic rug, the market also encourages BYO cups, cutlery and containers. Almost 100% of the food and drink packaging and utensils can be composted in the green bins available.

Vegan NSW relies on volunteers for almost everything we do, whether it’s running our amazing events, advocating for animals, or supporting people to live their best vegan life. At each event we offer over 50 opportunities for volunteering from event operations, stall management, social media and marketing, research, admin and more. If you’re keen to help register at Better Impact to be part of the fun and meet like-minded people.
