V2 Food on the Today Show

It’s always nice to see any mention of the meat-free lifestyle on mainstream free-to-air television and last week’s Today Show segment was no exception. Whilst Karl wasn’t necessarily convinced of the appeal of plant-based meat, the segment certainly highlighted the fantastic product that is being produced here in Australia the V2Food Mince.

The mince is plant-based and targeted at meat eaters rather than vegans or vegetarians as such. This certainly isn’t putting us off and we are thrilled to see more and more options replicating and replacing traditional beef products. The product not only tastes amazing but looks exactly like its animal made counterpart, meaning it will fit right in at your next dinner party or bbq.

We have also loved seeing this product go from a fast food product (Used by Hungry Jacks) to one that you can buy at your local Woolworth’s supermarket and other independent grocers.

For those who haven’t had the chance to go out and try the products, do yourself a favour and you certainly won’t be disappointed. Once you have it if you need any tips on how to cook it, be sure to see our V2 Cooking Post here.

But for now, enjoy the segment of V2 Food on the Today Show from last week below:
