These caramel chews will satisfy your sweet, crunchy and chocolate cravings, with just a hint of salt, and all of it is made with only “do you good” ingredients.
Course Snack, dessert recipe
filling
- 3 tbsp almonds chopped and toasted lightly in a pan
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 good pinch of flake salt
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
chocolate cover
- 50 g cocoa mass
- 25 g cocoa butter
- 30 g of maple syrup or another liquid sweetener
- 3 drops vanilla oil or ½ teaspoon vanilla powder
chocolate cover
You can melt 100 grams of ready-made vegan chocolate, gently over a warm water bath, or do as I do and make your own chocolate:
Melt the cocoa mass and cocoa butter gently over a water bath and mix in sweetener and vanilla powder
Whisk everything well together
Take the stuffed dates out of the freezer and dip one piece at a time in the melted chocolate, before placing them on a tray with baking paper and sprinkling them with flake salt
Put them in the fridge so that the chocolate hardens completely. Store in an airtight box in the refrigerator.
