Art & Ales with rescue greyhounds back at Yulli’s Brews!

If you haven’t been to a greyhound fundraiser event at Yulli’s Brews yet, then you’re in luck because Art & Ales is happening again this month and it’s sure to be as popular as ever!

Hosted by Greyhound Rescue and Yulli’s Brews, come and join us at the brewery on Sunday 16^th July for Art & Ales where you can bid on a “Greyt Masters” painting by the incredible rescue pooch-cassos themselves in a live auction from 2pm – 6pm.

The event will raise much-needed funds to allow Greyhound Rescue to continue the work they do rescuing and rehabilitating hounds in need.

“Greyt Masters: Autonomia” is a collection of paintings created by the Kennel Kids at Greyhound Rescue. These greyhounds have come from the racing industry and are being rehabilitated in order to start their new lives as adored family pets.

This latest collection “Greyt Masters : Autonomia” explores the concepts of self and identity; drawing inspiration from within and reflecting back to the viewer a world laid bare, stripped of inhibition, and left to ponder the broadness of existence.

Greyhounds are invited to participate in creating artworks as a form of enrichment, an activity which is excellent to help rescued hounds develop confidence and decision-making skills.

In addition to the live auction, at Art & Ales you can also meet some beautiful greyhounds while sipping on craft beer with a karma keg, enjoying delicious vegan food and more.
