Shanghainese Fried Noodle With OmniMeat Strip

Shanghainese Fried Noodle With OmniMeat Strip

Ingredients (two servings):

1 pack OmniMeat Strips (Defrosted)
450g Shanghai Noodles (or any noodles tough enough to be stir fried)
350g Cabbage (Shredded)
50g Onion (Shredded)
50g Dried Black Fungus Strips (Asian grocers should have these!)


2 tbsps Lee Kum Kee Vegetarian Oyster Sauce
1 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Dark Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Lee Kum Kee premium mushroom Powder
Pure Black Sesame Oil
200mL Water



1. Soak black fungus strips in hot water for 30 minutes to an hour, then drain, rinse and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan and pan-fry OmniMeat Strips until they’re browned and smell amazing, take them out and set them aside.
3. Add a little more oil and pan-fry the onion until it smells amazing too, then stir in the Shanghai noodles and the remaining dry ingredients.
4. Mix your seasonings together in a bowl and pour over the noodles, adding some water to loosen everything up, then simmer over low heat until almost all the water has evaporated. Enjoy!
