To celebrate World Vegan Day today Nourish Magazine has announced the winners of their 2021 awards. Each year they ask the public to vote on many of their favourite brands across a whole host of categories including food, lifestyle, people and more.
With the announcement of the award winners, we wanted to highlight a few category winners that we are big fans of too.
So here are a few vegan brands that are killing it in the Australian vegan space!
Best Vegan Ice Cream – Pana

Housed in an historic bluestone piece of Fitzroy history (the oldest pub in the neighborhood, once frequented by Bob Marley!), a meal at Smith & Daughters promises a tasty good time for all. In 2021 / 2022 they will be opening a mega-sized new restaurant and space in Collingwood so be sure to watch this space if / when in Melbourne!
Vegan Change Maker – Simon Hill
Through the Plant Proof channels, Simon’s hope is that more of us will work together to create a more equitable, beautiful, and peaceful world. Simon is best known for his work on the Plant Proof Podcast and his new book The Proof is the in Plants.
